Naz works spontaneously and let each painting evolve intuitively as she builds each layer on her canvas. While the majority of her work is on canvas, she does sometimes paint on wood or on archival paper. Her work with materials that allow her to build layers on a surface. She paints primarily with acrylic paints and gesso. For collage works, she often incorporates charcoal, graphite, oil pastel, markers, gold leaf, paper, and ink. Each piece is then finished off with a layer of gloss varnish to enhance the colors and depth and also protect the surface of the painting.
