This work is from the “Intermission” series. It is a collection of different size and patterns of circles and round shapes. It is framed. The power of colors and their interplay, rhythm and direction, all these elements flow together as a dynamic whole. This is a collage work, bleeding tissue papers, washi papers, markers, and mixed media. Each circle is so colorful, layers on small cut and/or ripped pieces of different papers to make it whole. They can also represent small things in life. Its how the viewer sees or perceives the meaning of each element.
The larger pieces are delivered either in a shipping flat box or rolled in mailing tubes. Some of my works are custom framed, some have no frame, but matted, etc. Please feel free to look at my entire online portfolio.
